For a few months, it does kinda just hand there. It has to "deflate". A woman will bleed for at least 4 to 5 weeks afterwards as all of the blood and fluids leave the body.

Some of the belly goes away immediately but it takes time for the uterus to get back to its prepregnancy size. The uterus stretches to 1000 times its normal size during pregnancy. Most women look about 5months pregnant still, after the birth of the baby.

If the woman has really great muscle tone, everything will look pretty much the same as before the pregnancy. With additional pregnancies and age, however it may take longer for the woman to regain her figure.

I lost some of the weight by just having my son, but the rest was still there...I still looked like I was pregnant, just not as far along. The rest is up to you..are you just going to sit around or are you going to work out...

You lose the big baby bump, but any extra weight you put on (that wasn't related to the baby) will still be there. Momma may be a bit thicker than she was beforehand!

it just depends on how big she gets or how many babies she has as well as is this a first pregnancy or more
