I mostly agree with AladdinWa, but add a few and drop a couple. In this order:
A Charlie Brown Christmas
- what Christmas is about, straight up, with gospel reading, friendship, giving, wonderful music and Silent Night at the end. The Best. You've got to know the basics, here they are.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (animated version)
- Dr. Seuse's story, Chuck Jones' animation, Boris Karloff's narration. Thurl Ravenscroft's marvelous singing. Priceless. I sing the song to myself for days after I see it. This and the Charlie Brown movie show how good, family, art can also be entertaining, touching and meaningful. They're both solid parst of English-speaking culture, today
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer - GE Theater stop-motion animation from the 1960s. The one with the elf who wants to be a dentist and Burl Ives giving voice to the snowman -narrator. Because its sweet but a little goofy and a little scarry- kinda like real life!
Miracle on 34th Street (1947 version)
- Makes you want to believe in Santa Claus, or at least Kris Kringle, again. My favorite moment is when the judge hands down his verdict.
It's a Wonderful Life
- Heartwarming and uplifting. What a great handsome-leading-man Jimmy Stewart was. What an inspired choice of story and staging.
Elf
- Unexpectedly sweet and enjoyable. Will Farrell is completely believable in the part, which is an amazing thing to see. The story is very appealing. By far my favorite of his movies.

Miracle on 34th Street (1947 version)
- Almost makes you believe in Santa Claus, again.
A Christmas Story
- Captures a child's joy of the magic of Christmas.
A Charlie Brown Christmas
- Such a simple story with such a profound message.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (animated version)
- Boris Karloff's narration. Thurl Ravenscroft's singing. Priceless.
Scrooged
- Bill Murray and Bobcat Goldthwaite are funny as hell. Carol Kane's turn as the Ghost of Christmas Present is great. The ending is great, also.
It's a Wonderful Life
- Heartwarming and uplifting.
BTW, I've seen other versions of "Miracle on 34th Street", and they're all crap when compared to the 1947 version. Don't be fooled by cheap imitations - the 1947 version with Edmund Gwenn as Kris Kringle is the Gold Standard.

Love Actually
It's the greatest Christmas movie ever because basically, it is all about love. Not just husband and wife but brother and sister, parents and children... etc It is a couple of different plots interwined and situations going on. It puts you sooo much in the christmas mood too and cheers you up. Its done very well too, with a bunch of great actors. AMAZING actors I should say :] to name a few
Bill Nighy
Colin Firth
Liam Neeson
Hugh Grant
Alan Rickman!
Emma Thompson
Laura Linney
Keira Knightley

How the grinch stole Christmas the Jim Carey version, so funny
Santa Clause is coming to town, the old tv version where they are like half puppet looking
Also Jack Frost in the same style as SC is coming to Town where there is that weird little metal guy with a red hat and a very fat mean man that lives in a castle in the hill.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
A Christmas Story
Edward Scissorhands (TIM BURTON in General)
-For us Outsiders
Mixed Nuts (with Steve Martin)
Boo, nice one. Meet me in St. Louis has a weird Halloween scene with the two little girls and the trolley prank, which is by today's standards an act of terrorism or mini-colombine, and it's handled so lightly, "merry-hahaho, you derailed the trolley..."
