Yes, they do, if it's being showed at a theater, because the showings are 'scheduled' and some people may show up late and want to see that movie, and it wouldn't be fair to the ones who want to see a later movie but the earlier was 'still playing' because even ONE person got there 'later' than the scheduled start time.

YES they do acctually because there is rarely a movie that noone buys a single ticket too and if they was they would prolly take it out of the theatre
plus there on timers and people can buy tickets at anytime while its playing and come in l8

Yes. I used to work projection at a movie theater and we would still have to play the movie no matter how many tickets were bought.

Yes, they still show the ,movie, legally they have to, its in their code of laws(confusing stuff). They can't decide not to show a movie even if no-=ones bought a ticket until 10 minutes in the movie, where the staff have a choice of wanting to see it.

Yes, at a multiplex, but possibly no at a single or art movie theatre.
Multiplex cinemas can offset the no show costs, however single screen and art cinemas cannot afford to open when no one buys a ticket.

YES!!! They have a schedule they must keep. Plus there are people who end up coming late on accident and hopefully only miss the previews. I don't know about little theaters but big theaters like Harkins and AMC they still show them.

Based on the high quality of the average movie theater employee, I would say that they do show it. Thinking outside the box is not encouraged at the Multi-Plex 48

There wouldn't be any point to show it if no one was there to watch it, so I seriously doubt they would. I have been in a theater though when there were only 4 of us watching.
