No, whether the ravens almost beat the patriots is irrelavent because the ravens are inconsistent, and the patriots have blown out many of the best teams like the steelers and cowboys, while playing close against some of the worst, so one game cannot predict another game's score. Plus, the ravens should have beaten the dolphins as well but blew a ten point lead missed a field goal, and the dolphins aren't lucking out two games in a row after being winless. And since the dolphins' goal this season was simply to avoid going 0-16, they're not going to beat the best with the mentality of celebrating after winning one game to improve to 1-13.

That logic doesn't work in the NFL.
Oh, Team A barely beat Team B, and Team B killed Team C, so Team B would beat Team A.
History has nothing to do with whether or not the 2007 Miami Dolphins can beat the 2007 New England Patriots or not. Did you not watch their first encounter? Brady was 21 for 25 with over 350 yards and 6 TD's. New England killed Pittsburgh, and Miami was shut out against them.

If Baltimore performs the comparable way like they did against the Colts, Dolphins have a shot at beating them. I incredibly doubt Patriots will lose against the Phins....yet whilst by potential of a few loopy consequence it does take place......i could purely snort and ask your self how lots of it had to do with satisfaction of the Dolphin franchise to have the only undefeated team in league history. My abode team performs the Pats this upcoming weekend. =(

I feel much better about the game now that Miami has won one. I think that takes some of the hype out of it.
In all honesty, I don't think Miami has the tools to take down even the Pats second string, but anything can happen on any given sunday.

Dolphins had a chance before they won. Before the win, they had something to play for. Now they are just happy that they didnt go winless. Patriots don't necessarily have anything to play for in this but they have the Brady-Moss Connection so it will be ok.
What is to say that the Ravens didnt go in overconfident to Miami?
Patriots win in a chilly one, 31-10

The pats will want to run up the score quickly in this one and get their starters out fast before anyone gets hurt. The longer Miami hangs around the tougher it will be for the Pats.

I don't think so. Belichick hasn't forgotten that Miami put up more points against the Pats than any other team this season, and he's not going to let that happen again. I'm not predicting a slaughter, but a win for the Pats.

team a beats team b
team b beats team c
that does not mean team a will beat team c
that logic does not work in sports. so stop using it.
dolphins have a chance just like any team, but i think pats will punish them
