No, I think the Ford family adopted him, or something, because they seem to not want to criticize their precious baby. Otherwise there is no excuse. He's an incompetent GM. Detroit will draft a WR next year if he's in charge, or a non-NFL QB.

Matt is there as long as BIll Ford get to hear what he wants from this guy. Millen will promise the world and always find a way to figure who else failed to deliver it.
By the way, I like the Lions this week against the Chiefs.
Lions 24
Chiefs 16

Matt Millen is only a part of the problem. The problem is much deeper than that.
William Clay Ford, Sr. has owned the team since 1962. In that period of time, they have won one playoff game and then was drubbed next week.
The Ford family bought this team for him and put his best friend Russ Thomas in charge. They did this because he was a moron and they wanted him kept away from the family business.
As long as he owns that team, Vince Lombardi would come in 4th place every year.

possibly on no account. through fact Ford doesnt care approximately triumphing or making a good team. Idk why owns. somewhat merely funds. each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days on the grounds that like ninety seven or ninety 8 the Lions have had desire for "it somewhat is the three hundred and sixty 5 days", and its continuously been a unhappiness. Lion followers replenish the Ford container continuously. so as long as he keeps makin funds why get rid of Millen.

They will eventually but he did make the right pick with Calvin Johnson. He needs to make some big time pickups soon or else he is inevitably to blame. Martz is an Offensive genius and if he can't get it going then no one can... Bottom line is that Millen doesnt have the knack for it really, but they are gonna give him time to try and amend.
