Hillary's God is power. That is what she seeks with relentless obsession. Barack is confused. His Father is Muslim. As a child he attended an Islamic madrassa. Supposedly he's Christian now.
If you think about it...it's hysterical that Barack is one of the Democratic front runners...in the wake of 9/11 and fears of Islamic radicalism that's who the Dems put up to lead our country. A guy with deep Muslim roots. I guess it's in keeping the the Democratic ideology of appeasement. I don't think he'll ever be elected though. No chance in hell.

I grew up in a United Church of Christ church. Creationism was taught in Sunday School to children, but not to adults. The church is not at all fundamental and doesn't believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible.
The difference with Clinton and Obama is that they are not talking about their religion in the same breath as their politics. The two should be separate, and they seem to understand that. Huckabee and Romney do not. Although, to be fair, it was fellow Republicans who attacked Romney for his faith, and not anyone else.

Because the right wing has SCREAMED for 20 plus years that **they** and **only they** are the true Christian party, and God will curse America if the Right is not elected to offices.
The Right has screamed exclusionary status regarding being the Christian party. Some Democrats have claimed that they are Christians, but they aren't so exclusionary, and they don't make "Christian faith" a party platform.
The Right has taken Christianity and pillaged it for its own gain, getting the masses to buy into their version of Christianity and getting those masses to support elitist Neo Cons who are only concerned about feeding their own greed and the greed of their friends and political contributors.
All the media is doing is holding the Right's feet to the fire on this issue. If you're going to claim to be a Christian, then when the rubber meets the road, you've got to be able to stand up to scrutiny. And if you're going to claim to be the only party of "true Christians," you'd especially better be ready to stand up to scrutiny.
Why is it the right thinks they can make exclusionary claims to Christianity, bash the other party for not being true Christians, but yet, the right things they don't have to stand up to any kind of scrutiny? Why?

Because when you are under God you will be sucessful (a nation under God) and if you do not believe or have God in your life then you lose a since of trust with the American people. In a way your beliefs can either make or break you when you are running for the Presidency. It is actually a big part in your campaign.

Because Hillary and Barack are running on the Democtat/liberal ticket and, as we all know, liberals aren't subject to the scrutiny and inane insinuations that Republicans/conservatives are. It's just another smear tactic from the left to get away from the real issues that matter.

I am not concerned about any candidates faith.
You seem to miss allot though, everyday I see posts on here claiming Barack is Muslim. Totally false claims of course, but it seems that some are concerned.

you also have to keep in mind just HOW serious republicans have taken faith in the past. it is a huuuggee part of their campaigning due to its large community. i dont know about you, but i dont want a president like we have now who thinks the world was created in a few days, because if that is the case, think about how gullible that mind is. once you grow up arnt you supposed to learn that myth is myth? i mean ****, jesus was only up on the cross for 3 hours and they think he was resurected? mother f*cker ran away!!! im not saying this to test anyones faith, but the bible is a guide, a metaphor, not to be taken literally by extremest fanatics who claim to have the ear of god.

because Obama and Hillary aren't making it part of their campaign strategy like GOPpers do.
You see, Romney didn't want to get into his faith, GOP'ers forced him to.
Why does the GOP party care so much?
ANSWERING DETAIL/?: I dont care at all because it doesn't make a difference on whom I am voting for. I suppose it does for some, why else would they ask? But you are correct, the media does much of the driving when it comes to all things polarizing.

Because the Democrats are not using religion unchristianly as a weapon, either agianst the other party or themselves.
I like faith in action, thats why I'm going with John Edwards.
It is deed, not word, that makes the virtue.
