I havent heard any crap about this one. I think its amazing and ballsy of the girl myself. I just cant believe its being aired on VH1. I love the song and I hope it touches others' hearts like it has mine.

Yeah, if you knew anything about her, she did struggle and does know what its like to have a hard time. I did some research on her and she wasnt handed her record deal. She actually pumped gas for a living.

That song makes me cry when I hear it. It's true what she says about hard work and the examples she gives. I also like the song she sang with her dad (last track).

she does have a lotta guts, but i respect her for actually speaking her mind....... a lot of the things are true. i'm always sad when i hear the part "How do you sleep while the rest of us cry?How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?". It's a good song

anyways, i don't agree with what she says in the song. but the song is well written and really good. which is weird, because i don't normally listen to pop music.
edit: i don't agree with her bashing george w. bush. also when she says "what kind of father would hate his own daughter if she were gay?"
George w. Bush does not HATE homosexuals. he simply disagrees with their CHOICE to be gay.

-i'm pretty sure this line is referring to the war. well, people fight for this country. would americans rather have iraq bomb us first. george bush believes that iraq is a threat. so do i. in order to americans and maintain our freedom we have to sarcrafice things. people will fight for america. thats how it will always be

- this doesnt even make sense and is not relevant. george bush atleast tries. people tend to look at what he has not done rather than what he has done. this is like looking at everything that is wrong in your life, for example, and totally ignoring everything that is good.

- wow. this is truely personal. everyone has had struggles in there life. even pink herself has struggled with the divorce of her parents. and to say this line is being completely inconsiderate and being a hypocrite. this line is like, for example saying "your mom" to someone whos mother has died. does pink think that george w. doesnt have any feelings towards his past and/or regrets.

- i am sure the president gets worried or confused about his job. honestly, you can't think about every single person when managing a country. and who exactly is crying?

- would she rather have a president who is always contrdicting himself and being negative. the way he presents himself has nothing to do with the struggles he has. i look up to george w. bush because of all of the crap he takes. CONSTANTLY people discourage him, but he stands by his believes and NEVER backs down. and after all, isnt that the kind of president you want? a president who refuses to give in.

well i absolutely hate it. i think its just a song so ppl will give her raps. i think its hilarious how she sings 'let me tell you about hard work' when she is a popstar who earns massive amounts of money. id love to hear pink tell me about hard work. she must be positively slaving away to get her million dollar mansion.
