I saw appauled by how many women loved "First Wives Club" because they think they're always better and smarter than men(Not ALL women are smarter than ALL men, BTW!!!).

But, what if there could be a movie like this where the husbands get revenge on their ex-wives and clean them out finacially? I bet you'd hate that even if the ex-wives severly wronged them, right?

All you care about is women-empowerment and want the hero in the movies to be women who kick butt like Lara Croft, right?

I think it's sick how women always initially dislike men.

Lemme guess... a little heavy on the steroids and testosterone this morning? Maybe your coffee was too strong and you're having a cranky day?

Gimme a break. This is 2007 and Women's Lib is like in it's third incarnation. The militant bra-burners are old school. The women I know are doing the job, mostly getting paid for it, and really tired of worn out stereotypes.

Actually, I think first-wives club was made because in society men have all the power. People expect men to make more, to get their way, and be better then women. The movie was created for us to realize that we can take a stand and that we don't need a man in our lives to be happy, all it takes is some good friends.
So, honestly, I think you're just mad that the movie holds a lot of truth.. men have enough, why would they need to make a movie like that?

--PS: You sound like you have some problems with women who are taking a stand in life. Guess what? It's the millenium, it's different now and we are equal. Deal with it.

I would love to find a man who could be the head of household. Unfortunately, that was media not reality. My husband has a masters degree and has not supported me in 9 years. He ruined our business, we will lose our home after new years, because he expects me to work and pay all the bills. He told me originally he was under qualified to work, now its he's over qualified. I don't get it.

Uh, no, not really. I think revenge in any situation is stupid. It doesn't solve the problem. If anything it makes it worse. But on a side note, if they did make that movie and it had good actors, I would see it.

I just say that you get back what you put out there. If your kind to others and try not to hurt anyone...Things will generally be good for you. If you go out and hurt others, it tends to catch up with you in the long run.
