That the Egyptian category is quite today? Do you think that it is because it is a holiday? Or that is an immediate result of eating fatta? Happy Eid to you all.

there is a holiday of several days, so most probably that some members of this categories have left to a warm city in egypt , or to the countryside.
those who are in cairo are busy in family gatherings ,eating delicious home made dishes of the Eid, roast lamb, grilled lamb liver , grilled lamb ribs, and fatta that knocks up the most resistant heads .
i was with my family all day . and have just opened the Yahoo Q/A.

Hey, I noticed that too and I am down under in the land of Oz!.
You know what I think a lot of it is because we have lost our "Um Farah" for a few days, she was having problems with her net connection but I hope she gets back here soon!
I have noticed there are a few others I miss who are away also.
I am on here as its pouring with rain here, they say I broke the drought lol and the shops and traffic as just too crazy with their Christmas shopping to go out anywhere.
I had forgotten just how strange people get here at Christmas, all of a sudden you have a million friends who you just have to go and visit.
Then for the rest of the year you don't hear a word from them!
But I have noticed that a lot of the "old faces" here are using Facebook a lot more, so maybe they have to spread their time out a bit.
What ever the reason I am sure it will be back to normal once we digest our fatta/fetta/fitta.
I am lost on the spelling having no one here to help me!
Oh I miss Egyptttttttt!
Belated Eid Mubarak to everyone!

Everybody is going out, visiting friends, and enjoying their Eid. We should not be here in eid too, but I have nothing better to do as I'm sick and mom is sick and we did not go anywhere for eid. But hey! we did eat fatta :)

happy eid to you.
I think its bec of the holidays, everyone is socializing off the Internet.
yes i agree, it has been noticed that the immediate result of eating fetta is that the person inflicted becomes silent and has a blank look on the face.
that is usually followed by deep sleep.
so happy dreams.

Eating fatta can be knocking. Also visiting relatives and receiving visitors, it is a mixture.
