I'm not trying to come off as a tough guy, but I don't ever cower... and since I started fighting back in 8th grade, I've never had too many instances where I've felt cornered. I don't like confrontation, but I haven't backed down when I or someone I love has been threatened... having said that, I would prefer to diffuse any situation non-violently.

I do neither ... I SHOUT until the person or people cornering me back off and I can escape. Cowering is very wrong (and you could get HIT or beaten badly, and BITING is also wrong, because you could be 'sued' if you do any lasting skin damage or cause the person you bite (or yourself) to 'catch something' really bad (HIV for one). Shouting is 'offensive' but it 'alerts other' to help you, and it also creates a 'wall of noise' that the 'bully' doesn't like, so the bully (or bullies) BACK OFF and once there is 'room' a person can and should ESCAPE (and report to the authorities).

I cower in the corner and bare my teeth.
Biting is rarely needed.

Oh I come out fighting like a mad-dog if needed. I suppose I would just snap at first though.

Then again, it takes a lot to corner me. =)

definately bite. we all heard of the fight or flight instinct, well i use a cane and running hasn't been an option for quite a while! it's always fight winning out over flight and usually me winning the fight.
