sooo, during the 1930's, aside from becoming chancellor, or "Fuhrer" and instituing a number of anti semitic laws, indoctrinating the state (through organizations such as the Hitler Youth), the Nazi-Soviet non agression pact was signed, Hitler decided to ignore hte Treaty of Versailles and enforce rearmament in Germany, reoccupied the demilitarized Rhineland, and invaded Poland near the end of 1939. but i'm pretty sure there's a LOT more that happened .. you can probably look on wikipedia! haha

In brief, WW1 left Germany on the brink of bankruptcy, German nationalism was quashed by foreign influences and a great debt was placed upon the German nation to repay restitution for WW1 damages. The over all sense of the people in Germany for many years after WW1 was one repression. Fast forward to the success of Mien Kampf and a run up campaign by the Nazi Party and Hitler as their leader, starts to inspire the return of German national pride and economic growth. In a sense Germany sold their soul to the devil (Nazi's) in return Germany became strong once again. Nazi nationalistic tunnel vision slipped into racism and hatred on a national government level. Hitlers warped dream of European Domination sprouted from the repression Germany was subjugated to after WW1. Hitler was deceptive in his intentions and signed treaty's of non aggression with Neville Chamberlin, only to renege a month or so later and invade Poland. Starting WW2.
Very turbulent time

Well, he came to power in Germany in 1933. There's a book you can check out by William Shirer called "Inside the Third Reich." It will tell you all that you need to know.

Sure, he was financed by a few German companies, one major one of which was a company hiding their money in a bank and trust in New York, run by Prescott Bush, George Bush's grandfather.
