warm water bottles !!! ??? Sheer luxurious !!! shall we never locate the money for such indulgences. A 14 lb bag of Coalite fee a million/3-d - and had to be eked out sparingly. iciness substitute right into a heavy drain on the family contributors income - extraordinarily over yule - Christmas holiday journeys - while little ones have been at living house all day - and the grate mandatory stoking up maximum hours of the day - and the fee rocketed to 2/6d an afternoon, while the climate became against us. Snow on the floor - ICE the two exterior and interior the living house windows, and so forth. Flanelette jim-jams, woolly socks, a brilliant number of blankets and an eider-down continuously observed us in the process the worst - and it helped that 4 human beings boys shared 2 beds, while the climate have been given truly nasty. i substitute into properly into previous due teenage years in the previous ever luxuriating in mattress with a warm water bottle. A rubber version - i did not like the scent, yet crammed with boiling water, wrapped in a towel and held firmly interior the groin section - it gave many a delightful sensation. each and all the extra alluring - given previous reports of 'convenience'. ; ))

Yes, I use a hot water bottle in bed whenever I get Restless Legs Syndrome. It's the only thing that seems to help so I can get some sleep.
I also used a hot water bottle when I was younger for growing pains in my knees and ankles. Worked wonders!!
I don't think I ever used it for when it's cold outside.

Yes - most definately: There's nothing more cosy and warm than a nice cuddly hot water bottle.
I have one (or more) in my bed all the year round. Here in England they are essential.

Oh yes ! Only for the first half hour, once my feet are warm, I can drift off to sleep. And come to think of it, its time for me to climb the wooden hills to Bedfordshire, and go down Blank Common right now ! Night night !

Nope, the idea seems odd to me. A friends child has one, and also uses a heating pad though not at the same time.

I haven't used anything but a heated mattress pad for years. I'll never use anything else, including electric blankets, cuz they make me sweat. The pad is perfect.
