xomisty08xo is right, if you look at how many 16 year olds have children, none of their faces are all over the news, Beyonces sister, Solonge had a child at 17 and no one judged her or her family especially her mother!! many people go through the things Britney is going through, however i doubt it is helped by the hoards of photographers that follow her everywhere she goes!! people like to judge others to make themselves feel better about the fact someone elses life is worse than their own, they get their info from the media which is usually all rubbish made up so they can sell more magazines/ news papers. I'm sure their family is going through a tough enough time as it is without people being rude and nasty about them. People blaming Lynne or Britney for Jamie Lynn's pregnancy are pathetic, it takes two to tango, its wholly her responsibility and no one else is to blame she knew what she was doing had consequences and now she has to deal with them.

Isn't the age of consent in the States 18? Should the girls boyfriend be arrested for knocking up someone underage? It's statutory rape. Or does the age of consent vary from state to state?

Well as for xomisty and Emma they are dumb for saying that crap. Stars are in the business to be judged. There are MANY celebreties that have left the lime light to lead a better life. And yes, the Spears clan is one fu#@!ed up family, and they all need to fall off the face of this earth. Do everyone a favor and go away!

They reflect pretty much today's society, teenagers drinking and parting too hard, underage sex and promiscuity, teen mums. etc etc it's tres boring and tiresome. I am geting sick of seeing Britney Spears in the paper and now Jamie Spears too, Spears overload people!!.

first, she has been with the father for 4 years.
