We want to do a candy favor wrapped in tulle But the colors at the craft store are just the wrong color. I need to find out how to dye white tulle black.

That's an exercise in frustration. Try other stores. Try mail order. Tulle *is* available in black.

Tulle is a weave, not a fiber. It may nylon, rayon, *silk* or other. I don't expect to find silk tulle at regular craft stores. Silk dyes easily.

I looked under bridal supplies and found 6" wide 25 yard rolls of black tulle for $2.15 plus shipping

I have dyed tulle with Tulip brand spray dyes. It looked great. But you'll never get black, even with black dye. How about some black sequins instead?

since it isn't cotton or a fabric, but actually plastic, I don't think it will hold dye. The color will most likely come off
