It depends...if he is always going out and you are always staying home...then no, it isn't fair...but if its a once in awhile thing, then let him have a night out and let him know you would like to have a girl's night out or a date night every once in awhile too. You guys need to learn to compromise.

If your like most moms or wifes you throw yourself into your relationship with your husband but men are different men need male bonding time.
I am almost positive he tells you to go out but you choose not too.
You must remember just because you don't want to go does not mean he should not go.
I think he needs to pick up some sort of hobby that involved guys
like hunting,paint balling,pool, basket ball
something to male bond.
If he is going to the bar then no only on special occasion but if it is one time thing once every few months then let him don't make him look like a wimp to his friends.
But if he starts doing it more then once every few months put an end to it right away.
Always remember men really do need male bonding.
My daughter love to stay home talk on the phone gossip ect...
My sons are always on the go playing sports or out with the guys.
Good luck

Let him go, but make a deal, the day after he has to stay home with your son and you get to go out.

I personally think that you should let him go and next time you plan a girls time. Let him know that you deserve to go out also. So just plan it and say that you are going out if he puts a fit then you tell him that fair is fair and in a relationship its 50/50 if he gets to go out then so do you. You deserve the right to do that also.

He should be able to go out with his friends once in awhile, as long as he occasionally lets you do the same with your friends, and watches your son. If he wants to do it a few times a week, then I think that's unreasonable.

Tracy you don't have to stay at home with your child, find you a baby-sitter. Enjoy having time alone with your husband. If you don't you will always miss out on some enjoyable evenings with your husband. The baby will be fine, after all it was that time together that brought him/her about.

This one day he wants to go out? Is this a pattern of his or is this just the one time he wanted to go out?
Relax and let him go then go out with your friends tomorrow night.
Merry Christmas

tell him its okay for him to go out as long as you are able to. relationships are a give and take. you should be just as entitled to go out with your friends like he is. especially if you are at home all day raising his son. tell him you want to go out as well one day out of the week.

Let him go. But another night, you go out with the girls and have him stay home with the kid. You BOTH need time for yourselves away from the kid to keep your sanity.

No no... let him go. It gives you the upper hand for when you want to go out. Tell him, he can go but he's baby sitting this weekend.
