Can I use food coloring to dye candles?

No because the dye is water based and I also wouldn't use crayons as they can clog your wick. The best thing to use is dyes made specifically for candle making. You can buy these at Michaels, Joann's, Hobby Lobby or any online candle supply store go to www.cajuncandles.com

NO physique oils!!!! AGH!!! you need to use mandatory oils. physique oils will at last turn rancid, and could burn smokily. Get 'em at well being nutrients markets. that's one difficulty you could not do at a budget, yet somewhat is going an rather good distance. You mixture those by potential of the DROP (get an eyedropper). Many nutrients colorings will fade in gentle--craft shops have dyes for much less costly.
