i havnt had heartburn at all my whole pregnancy.....so everyone says my baby girl will probably be bald lol..... not that i really care as long as she's healthy but i just wanted to know if anyone else has been heartburn free an still had a baby with hair

Heartburn is a old wives tale thats still going around. Some swear that they had heartburn and their children had tons of hair and some say they didn't but thier baby had just as much or more hair. Even if this were true, the hair they have at birth eventually fades out and thier "real" hair starts to grow after a few weeks. Your baby is gonna be beautiful so don't worry about a thing!

I had awful heartburn and my daughter arrived with the normal amount of hair. Most people thought I was weird for all the heartburn I was going through. That is a wives tale. Your child will be perfectly fine and most caucasian babies are born with little to no hair and as they age the hair comes pouring out like a fountain.

I had heartburn constantly in my last trimester, so I was sure I was going to have a baby with a head full of hair. Didn't turn out that way. My little girl is now 9 months old and still barely has any hair!!

I had heartburn- terrible heartburn so bad that I needed a prescription and that only helped some. My daughter didn't have any hair. She is 15 months and still doesn't have very much. I don't think the two things are related at all.

It's an old wives tale that they're getting back to front... lots of hair is supposed to give you heart burn.
In any case one has nothing to do with the other... I've had horrible heartburn in both pregnancies and one had a heap of hair and the other barely had any.

That is an old wives tale. I had plenty of heartburn with all 3 of my pregnancies, 2 with heads FULL of hair, one near bald.

I didn't have any heartburn until my 4th pregnancy. I had quite a lot of heartburn, but she had only a little hair. My first born had the most hair, lots of dark hair, but no heart burn with her at all.

I didnt have heartburn untill my 9th month and then i didnt have very bad just when i needed to eat. My baby girl was born with enough hair to put hair bows in. Which i also was born with lots of hair. Theres really no way to tell untill she arrives. Good luck and congradulations

Well....I had a TON of heartburn and my baby was bald until she was 3...so I think it's just an old wives tale. Congratulations, and good luck with the baby!
