I think people tend to either be kind of romantic people or they don't, and I'm not sure you can tell someone how to be romantic - since being romantic usually involves a genuine moment and/or action between two people.

Also, it depends on the people's relationship, itself.

Usually, trying to be romantic results in something less than romantic and more phony, which makes it even less romantic than it was anyway.

Having said those things, here's some thoughts:

Flowers are usually romantic. Sometimes small flowers are more romantic than big, showy, bunches of them.

Having coffee or tea at a cozy little place can be more romantic than going for a giant dinner at an expensive restaurant, although the nice restaurant with the right outfits (on the customers) can be romantic sometimes.

Speaking of outfits: Wear decent clothes. That's not saying wear a dress shirt and tie everywhere, but baseball caps and baggy t-shirts are never romantic. A decent shirt or jersey (no words or pictures on it and no black or wild colors), decent pants or jeans, and a good haircut (longish is fine, unkempt isn't) can be ok, although a nice sweater or, if the occasion is right, dress clothes can be more romantic.

Doing things outside tends to lend itself to being more romantic (shopping in a downtown, going to the beach, having a picnic). Malls are not romantic.

Rock music is not romantic. A certain type of love song is, depending on your age. Every age has its own type of love song, although many love songs transcend ages.

Finding things to laugh about is usually romantic, as long as it isn't off-color stuff (which is never romantic).

Doing nice little surprise things or bringing little surprises can be romantic (although not hugely romantic).

Being a genuine and kind person who really respects the other person (not just "treats them with respect", but really respects) lends itself to being romantic.

I think there can be superficially romantic moments when a dating relationship is just starting up, but many genuinely romantic moments have to occur only after a couple has had a little history between them, which, in itself, can lend itself to more romance - believe it or not.

Open doors for her.
Take long walks and talk and hold her hand hand her a single flower.
Do a candle light dinner.
Give or have flowers delivered to her.
Put cards on her car window that tell her how much you like her.
Buy her favorite candy and feed it to her.
A bubble bath with rose peddles in the water and champagne and chocolate covered strawberry's.
Hoped this helped you. Best wishes.

Stroke her hair as she falls asleep or her back if she likes it...
I love to be pet this way.

You can also whisper I love you into her ear over and over during love making.

You can take her hand in yours when your just hanging out watching television or reading take her hand into yours and bring it up to your mouth and kiss it and tell he you love her into her hand...almost like your telling the hand you love it but then look up into her eyes and pause and smile. This I have found to be very touching.

When you kiss her...take both sides of her face/ear area like cupping the sides of her head if she likes being posessed you can wrap both arms around her and tell her you never want to let her go...but dont hold her in a choke hold, just hold her for like 10 seconds and then back up and kiss her on the mouth and the forehead and take a deep breath so that she feels that your turning away is really hard to do.

Mainly walks and talking and sharing your hopes, dreams and love are all that you need to be romantic...but a carriage ride or two wouldnt hurt. Take Care-Rachel.

Be truthful. Find something you really like about the lady (appropriate) and comment on it.
