Hubby & I just found out through blood test we are expecting baby no. 2!! So I need a creative way to tell my mom i am pregnant ((last time i just called & told her)) We live in the same town & i was hoping to do something really special this time--kind-of Christmas related ♥
For his parents we are making my 23 mth old a shirt that says "I'm going to be a big sister" & she's going to wear it to their house Christmas day ♥ Thanks so much for the help!! We are so excited =) **babydust to all of you ttc**

Don't second guess yourself, you have a novel idea with the big sis shirt. Just say" Merry Christmas mother, you are going to be a grandmother again!"

i like the "big sis" t-shirt idea - why don't you do the same thing for your mom....if not, you could always by a little pair of socks, or a baby rattle and put it in her christmas gift....and wait how long she figures it out....you can always put something about "#2 coming next Summer" or something on the rattle/socks.
we told all the grandparents this time with the socks - it's our first so it wasn't hard to figure out why they would need size 0 socks. they all loved it.
Just an idea. CONGRATS!!

Our families already know we are expecting - but they don't know that we are going to find out the sex of the baby. Our first ultrasound is this Friday They all want to know, but we plan to tell them we couldn't find out, that the baby just wouldn't "cooperate". Instead of a Christmas card, we are going to give them an "it's a boy" or "its a girl" card when we get together on Christmas (provided we don't jinx ourselves and actually are able to find out!) You could do something similar with a baby annoucement. Congrats!

In her Christmas Card, place a note with the words "MY DUE DATE IS ....... 2008"

leave small little sticky notes around the house with cute little baby stickers, and then let the sticky notes lead to some where and in a card write im pregnant or we are having a baby godluck.

i went and got my husband a baby bottle got some diapers off of a girl i knew who had a small baby bought a pacifier and a baby blanket and a card that says congrat your a daddy again.

when i was pregnant it was around mothers day so i got a mothers day card and stuck my test in it....it took her a minute but then FREAKED.....LMAO. since its around christmas if you dont stick the test in it....wrap the test and give it to her with the card, and when you sign your names put baby ( lastname)...example...baby bryant...lol then shell open the present and itll be the positive test!!! lol oh wow your making me excited about it for you!!! lol congrats!!!!!

we were lucky enough to have an ultrasound by Christmas last year & we put them in booties & gave them to our parents at Christmas...you could give them booties & a grandma/grandpa shirt if you want to tell them by Christmas

You could get a top made sayin " i have the golden ticket" with a arrow pointing to your belly
or
one saying across your breats LUMPS , your hips HUMPS and your belly BABY BUMPS
:D then wear it next time you see them good luck and congrads ! :D
