No, it doesn't hurt me. I take it as a compliment that I rattled you enough and feel empowered.

Hmmm.... When a neighbor's kid's friend called me that after I asked them to turn down their car's stereo, I was not happy. I was polite. They acted quickly and were polite until I started to walk away. I heard 'b...'. I turned around and let him have it. (Maybe I shouldn't have done it. But I did. I didn't feel bad after because they are so annoying and so loud. I was trying to concentrate on homework. I had a good reason for asking.)
My husband has never called me that. I have never given him a reason to either. I don't nag him. I'm easy going and nice.

Haha, not at all. ***** is thrown around so much that for me personally I would not find it offensive. Other things could hurt my feelings...but not such a small word like *****. And we have all said stuff in anger that we don't really mean!! I know I have!

If you do it in anger, it is intentional. It would hurt as much as if girls called you a motherfu#ker in anger. So lets all be careful how we talk to each other while we are angry

I hate being called a ***** and I hate being sworn at in temper. It's all about respect.
Probably because I am not a *****, but it is always people like me that end up walked all over and hurt.

Sure, but I wouldn't date or marry anyone who called me a ***** in the first place......one time, and I would know that he wasn't very respectful and I would know that if he did it once in anger, he will probably do it again.
When angry at your partner, you should work towards resolution, not towards tearing one another down.

Personally, it's not as bad as being called a mother****** or a word that insults my intelligence. I'd rather be called a b**tch than stupid or dumb**s.

Not really. Name calling doesn't hurt me anymore. I've learned that if someone is gonna call me something there's no use crying over it.
