Too right!!!

At this time of year I feel the need for a lot more sleep than at other times of year - about 12 hours every night would be about right. I think that's a natural thing. If we were living wild in a natural environment it would make complete sense to do that, to sleep through the long hours of darkness and snuggle somewhere out of the cold for most of the time. The artificial world we live in often won't allow us to follow our natural, biological needs.

I won't want to hibernate, I'd miss out on too much, like Christmas and falling snow. I just have a REALLY hard time getting up before the sun does. I live at the base of a mountain, so when the sun rises, it takes an extra 1/2 hour to shine into my house and make me happy.

hibernation sounds like a good plan but then we would sleep away the whole winter
( oh I guess that was the question) I'm sorry I have no opinion it is almost the end of the work day for me :)

I would so love to hibernate - in my jimmy jams and my feather duvet - lock the world away and come out in spring.

Hey with no food for 3 months I would be ultra skinny! of course i would have a drip installed and a catheter!

When you are all covered up in the down comforter, hibernation sounds like an excellent idea.
