I have noticed a certain person going to every question saying homosexuality is a sin. Then answer this question, most homophobes use the book of Leviticus as their weapon of choice. So my question is in this book they also say that shellfish, certain kinds of fowl, pork and rabbits are unclean and should not be eaten. If you do then it is an abomination(just like homosexuality). So why don't you go to the food section and preach to them or go picket Red Lobster for sending people to hell? If you agree hit me with a star!!!!!

d g I am talking about the things that are in the Bible. Why pick and choose. If you are going to save someones soul, why not try to save them all.

The bible is so full of inconsistencies that it is easy for people to cherry pick the bits to support their argument. Two people with incompatible, totally opposing views can easily find something in the bible that backs their point of view.
People who use the bible to justify their arguments aren't interested in logic, they are interested in finding some way of validating their view point. Saying "God agrees with me" pretty much sweeps away all other arguments in their eyes.

Later on in the new testament it says that it's okay to eat that stuff for some reason. I don't remember exactly what it says. And I love red lobster haha. I don't think being gay will send you to hell if you still believe in God and Jesus. That's all you need to do to get to heaven I think.

The Bible is the weakest argument against homosexuality in my opinion. Its not scientific and is based on opinions. You get a star.

Something doesn't have to be prohibited in the bible for people of common sense to understand that doing it is wrong or aberrant.
There is no prohibition in the bible against eating feces, pouring boiling water upon oneself or kidnapping and on and on. There are just some behaviors which by their very nature are immoral and wrong.
