Men do you secretly loose respect for your wife when she participates in sexual acts?

No. If anything, intimacy breeds even more closeness. If he is losing respect for you, it's because he thinks he can run all over you and you won't stand up for yourself or your own feelings. Men respect a woman who knows what she will and will not do and nobody can push her beyond her limits. Know your limits, make sure you stand by them, and hopefully you can still regain his respect. Don't ever do anything you don't want to do. If he says he's going to leave you because you aren't this or that enough, then he's a loser who will never be happy with any woman unless he's pushing her in to things she doesn't want. Take care of you first. Everyone else must come second.

I think most men like it when their wives try new things. I think since you said you would NEVER do it, and you did, you feel really guilty about it for some reason. If it was a sexual act between the two of you ONLY (and no other people involved) then don't worry! You're married, and you two can do whatever you want....and your husband probably liked it if he asked you to do it!

Only if the act had a third party involved should he possibly lose respect for you. It takes two to tango and if he was into it then I am sure he still respects you. I know how that feeling is though when you do something you said you would never do, just talk to him and let him know that is normally not like you.

I think that the perception of his lost respect is probably all in your mind. Women often think way too much about the "meaning" of sex and sexual acts while the man is just happy to be a participant.

You probably have shown him that you are more devoted and willing to please him and in no way would that cause a lack of respect. Relax and enjoy and all will be good.

Don't over-think it! Enjoy the ride!

That does not make sense. If it was between the two of you, then there is no reason for him to lose his respect for you.

It sounds like you lost respect for yourself for doing something you always thought was dirty and now you see that as your husband's response.

I would doubt that he has lost respect in you. Sexual acts are not dirty. People apply connotations to sexual acts based upon them being done for money. I cannot even say that that is warranted.

Take care,
Troy

it depends on what the act was. If you were with another woman then he may feel that that is what you want. Adding another man to the picture can say you want more and he's not able to give it to you. Your wedding bed is sacred no one should be there but you and him. Now if you are doing some freaky acts and he is looking at you different, maybe he's wandering if you've ever done that before and with who. Sometimes the other partner do not and does not want any spice added unless they suggest it. I don't know if I helped but I tried.

Need some more details. What does he do that makes you think that? He should not lose respect for you for doing anything with him. You are his wife and you should be able to do anything that you want to with him. If he wanted you to do something and then lost respect for you, you have some really big problems. My husband would not lose respect for me unless I did them with someone else. Have you asked your husband? If you haven't, you need to. You should also be able to talk about anything with him.

I can't see anything wrong between a husband and a wife when having sex regardless what the sexual act was.

Usually most men like it. When your married everything is a go. Feel bad if you perform an act and he is not your boyfriend, and he dumps you, and never talk to you again. But this is your husband, so if you feel this way talk to him about it.

Have you considered that maybe it's not you? Sometimes man think they want something and can handle it no problem. Then they realize that they are not handleing "it" and need time to deal with their emotions.

He is your husband, so TALK to him! If he is uptight about it, a few glasses of vine with relaxing environment could help;)
