It depends on the shoes.
If they are really good ones that you will wear for a long time, that's not too much. Think of it in terms of cost per wearing-- that may swing your decision.
Personally, I love shoes, but don't want to spend more than $50 at tops per pair. (I love bargain shopping!)

OK, HelloWorld, now this is something l DO know about,l buy ALL my Grand kids shoes when l am in UK. Go to "The Bank" clothes and shoe shop, or "JD Sports, clothes and shoe ware " they sell Nicholas Deakins latest style leather shoes (And other makes) 65 quid. Love Jo xx P/s Everyone thinks these shops are just Sports shops- but NO, they moved with the times, my son is 32 and buys all his there- as does my 11,14 and 18 year old Grandsons, so think Young- you are only 30. xx

Do you like the shoes? Then, no!
I thought it was too much to spend $160 on a pair of boots and I've been wearing them for almost 10 years!
I got my money out of them.

Depends what type of footwear it is.... A man needs a really good pair or two of really snazzy dress shoes. The women go crazy for a sharp dressed man. So the answer is... no, not necessarily.

You go for dinner and a few cocktails and the tip
will cost you more if you do not take care of your feet
your whole body goes make they fit you as comfortable as father flecks shoes .

to me yes, but if you can spend a lot of shoes, hopefully they will last a long time, not a couple of weeks, like cheaper shoes can.
