Find someone truly special....I don't want to date people in order to find the one, this question question is too complicated, I want things now, not years, I waited for years, haven't done anything , no experience at all, I want things NOW.

For me the answer is yes. I am 33 now and have dated quite a bit. Some relationships have been intense and I fell in love with the person and other relationships were just fun and lighthearted. I learned a lot from each situation/person and was able to bring those experiences and lessons into the serious relationship I'm in now.
The others were a dress rehearsal for the real thing and I will NOT be repeating the mistakes I have made in the past.

I am 33 and I still want to date lots of people before I settle down. I was in a 10 year relationship, maybe that's why.

You might get the best answers from the older people (like me). We have the years behind us to honestly answer that question. I'm 38. We also have the life experiences (good and bad) and have learned the lessons. We cherish more what is hard to find and keep.

I dated exactly 8 people in my lie. #1 and #8 were the "keepers". The rest were two timing jerk offs. So I'm glad I waded my way through the swampy water. I know what I now have and can appreciate it all the more.

As with most other aspects of my life, I did everything backwards. I met The One in high school, but married someone else right out of high school. The One then married someone else, too...and both of our marriages were disasters. Now...many years later, we have Reunited!!

Yes! that's good...collect and select among the best. Anyway no matter what others look at you because you dated several people, if the person really loves you he/she never mind your past.

My own opinion is that it isn't necessary.
People do need to gain a better understanding, though, both before marriage and when being married. Most have the liberal mindset, and this needs to be remedied.

i've got dated those with very distinctive perspectives from myself. i like it in my view. Its approximately understand and not conserving onto stereotypes. You reported he's republican and it shocked you simply by fact he's open minded. I even tend to vote republican and that i'm very open minded. it is the 1st place to initiate. do no longer assume issues. do no longer flow into it with techniques of what that individual is, or ought to be in reaction to their political evaluations. i admire debating subject concerns. i latterly dated a guy with VERY distinctive perspectives and we had the main spectacular conversations approximately those ameliorations. it is approximately listening and respecting one yet another. you do no longer ought to agree, yet be respectful. He thinks he's basically as precise as you do. It should not be a reason to no longer date somebody. We finally did no longer artwork, in spite of the shown fact that it had no longer something to do with politics or faith.
