Why is it against the law to view porn if your under 18?

Any 13 year old can just click "Enter" on a porn site. How can they go to juvi and how can they get caught by the police if there home int here room??

If there is some type of investigation of the web site they can get all the screen names for those who went to it and track it back. A lot depends on what kind of porn we are talking about. If it is kiddie porn, thats against the law and people are prosecuted. For regular porn, most of the time no one bothers to do much. Its no worse than the Hustler mags under the bed back in the day.

There's just so much wrong with that question it hurts my brain. Let's put it this way: Do you want your seven year old sister (hypothetically speaking) subjected to that? That's why it's illegal. Even if you want to watch it, society has some small responsibility to provide a moral upbringing for children.
Oh, and how do they catch you? Big Brother is watching, my friend.
