Would you let someone put a laptop on your head? I think it will harm you and your baby. Laptops get hot, and there's also electromagnetic radiation from the electronics. Safer to use a desk or a portable lap-top desk (mini-desk).

Check out this laptop desk that you can put on a sofa or bed.

Why would it be bad? Are you concerned about radio waves from the electronics? If so, there would be warnings. If you can go around all day with a cell phone glued to your ear and stand next to any other electronic device and come out ok, the laptop shouldn't hurt the baby. Oh yea, and the weight of it won't hurt either... it's well protected by your body, and you would find yourself moving it if it became uncomfortable.

well first off i would not recommend doing that cuz of the heat and stuff laptops give off.

2nd. if u wanna use it on your stomach, it all depends on how much ur laptop weighs. I have a Compaq presario F579Wm and It's not heavy at all.

congratts on your baby!

With the heat and Radiation waves I would suggest to just be safe and not do that you never what could happen.

I wouldn't do it. The laptop does emit electromagnetic energy and no telling what the effect is on a fetus. Congrats!
