Was is right for Joy Behar of the View to make fun of a child who may have had Asbergers?

Question

I received an email from someone who said that on 12/17. Joy Behar was making fun of a child who had Asbergers. Did you see this show? If you did, would you be willing to contact the show and complain? I did not see the show but think she owes the public an apology, if that is what she did.

The email I received was from a mother of a child with asbergers. She saw the show herself. I don't have any reason to disbelieve her.

Thank you CowboysF for the link. I watched it and can understand why a mother who has a child with some sort of disablity could be offended. It's a very sensitive subject.

I would be very surprised if she made fun of a child while knowing that the child had Asbergers. But sometimes stand-up comics shoot from their mouth before their brain is in gear (Michael Richards comes to mind.)
I don't watch daytime TV so I can't be of any help.

I wouldn't get too upset about these talking heads. It's their job to get ratings, even if it is at the expense of people who can't talk back.

She has no limit to who and what she will do to children, how would she like people to start talking about her child(ren) and/or any grandchildren she may have.
Are they trash talking ugly *** too? She wrote a childrens book, I would never allow any of mine to read it, she is trash and a pig, to speak of any child(ren) the way she does. I hope yours get to hear and feel the way the children you pick on, see how you feel.

Blacks can make fun of blacks. Hispanics can make fun of hispanics. Gays can make fun of gays so it only stands to reason someone who is mentally retarded can make fun of someone with a mental disease.
