I can't speak for other people. Personally, I am more than generous with stars, spreading them around as often as possible. Even though stars are unimportant to me, they apparently mean something to others.

hey bonkers9 i'm never greedy with my stars...
yesterday i used up my limit.....anyway i star 99% of the questions i answer.....i sometimes star questions even if i don't answer them......
see i've stared your question......lol
it doesn't cost anything to give someone a star....
but i do agree with you some people are greedy with the stars..many times i've asked a question and 40 ppl would answer and i'ed get no stars..........

I don't think people are greedy, but why do people ask or beg for them instead of earning them with an interesting question !!!
