UK chips cos they dont look like skinny worms and at least theres some spud in them

If they are proper fish & chip shop chips, then there is no substitute for the real thing. US so-called "fries", the word for which was taken from the French "frites", are usually made from reconstituted potatoes, which is why they are uniform in size and taste.
Good old British chips are made directly from the potatoes, which means they can be any size and taste different with different potato sorts. Also, you can't make a decent chip buttie with fries!

Last time I had UK Chips I was 6, and haven't had american frys. I'm stuck with the Canadian wedges and loving them.

I like F-R-I-E-S. Chips are good, but they are too soggy for my liking. I don't know what Frys are. I think they are a brand of boots. No, that's Frye.
