The 7 pin header is simply labeled "power". Testing with a multimeter reveals that pin 5 is ground (going left to right). There is 735 ohm to pin 1, 732 ohm at pin 3, 708 ohms at pin 4 (respective to ground). All other pins read open. The board contains an advantech "system on module" with 64mb of ram.

There is no power supply, that's the problem. I suspect its a simple 12v/5v supply but I have no idea which pins need power, and I don't want to burn anything out in the process.

Is there a name or model number on the power supply module?

Is it possible for you to power it up to take voltage readings?

A picture of the unit may also be helpful for clues.

The 24 pin connector has on it quite is end, 2 black and 2 yellow wires. they're those that would desire to cling over and not hook up with the 20 pin receptacle on the mobo. merely get a 2nd opinion till now attempting it... it works on mine. The black and yellow wires furnish extra conductors for the present needed on hi-end mobos.
