contact your local social services and let them handle it. make sure you take your court ordered child support papers and any information that might be helpful to them such as drivers license number, social securtiy number, name of last employer, address of last known residence, etc....

If this won't work then you can hire an attorney but s/he'll need as much of the above information as you can provide.
Good luck.

Can't stand deadbeat dads. I had one for 5 years until I found hime and took his butt to court. He had to pay all of the back support and it tripled his child support. Ha! If he'd kept up with his support I'd probably never have asked for an increase!!!!

In my experience, if they haven't reported where they work, then only your local child support enforcement agency can do anything legally about it. And even they will not tell you. Also, if he doesn't report working, they really can't do much (limited funds). When you do find his work, you can report it to the agency, but the only thing that will be done, is them sending a letter to him asking for work information: he can lie about that. Sorry kiddo, this is just the way it is done

Law enforcement will NOT help you. Set up a payement arrangement through the court or department of human services in your area. This will put collection of the support under the authority of the DA's office.

Go to the local child support enforcement agency and give the all the information you have about your ex husband. It's their job to find him and get the money you need to take care of your children. Stay on them about it and give them new information as you get it. Good luck with that!
I can not belive "DrS" is a top contributor with such a lame answer as the one he gave above. Yahoo needs to remove him.

Do you know anyone who knows him? If you do ask them if they know the name of where he works. Talk to his family. Also Child Support is supposed to able to help you locate him! Go through law enforcement or any last known job he had to see if they have a moving on location. Also you can pay $9.99 on one of those people finder sites and see if you can locate him through there (I've used them before and they really work they aren't scams )

call the child support agency for whatever state he is in or you are in. It should be automatic anymore - any time a payer changes jobs, the state usually finds out pretty quick and contacts the new company to begin deducting pmts

Usually child services will check with the social security office to see who is paying in his taxes. That way they know who he works for. But, if his employer is not paying taxes for him, you may not have much luck. Get child services involved with this. If he doesn't pay and they have record of it, he will not get any tax refund when he files as it will go to you for back child support..
