I think it's just fine.

However, me being the video game addict that I am, I actually prefer "Tidus" after the FFX character.

I know, I know. Usually I hate weird spellings, but I don't think Tidus is TOO far out there.

EDIT: I am stunned that there are so many people here who don't know that Titus is a perfectly normal, acceptable Biblical name. It's like Timothy, for goodness' sake! The name Titus will certainly not prevent him from getting a job or having friends.

It sounds funny to me, because I work in a town called Titusville, and it was named after someone's last name. Also kind of sounds like a Roman emperor or something.

Just make sure you think about what nicknames people will come up with and how they will shorten the name (always happens to me, even if I introduce myself by my full first name).

Titus is a good name for a dog - but not a child, IMO.

Reminds me of the old time radio show "Allens Alley" where they had an old character "Titus Moody"

Gayle, it is waaay to easy to make fun of the name Titus, don't do that to your son! It's cruel! Try Zeus or Jupiter...sounds kingly right? Hope this helps...

I think all names must go with the last name. So, Any name is a good one if it has a nice ring with the last.
