How long does morning sickness normally last or when does it start?

With my first pregnancy I never had morning sickness and with this one it's been the same way so far. I am going to be 9 weeks pregnant this Friday ... so I wasn't sure if I was out of the clear or if it could still just being starting if it is going to happen.

Thanks for everyone that answers the question!

Well when I ws pregnant with my son I got it around 10 weeks and it lasted for about a week. It was very mild and pretty much tolerable. Every pregnancy is different though.

With my current pregnancy it started around 6 weeks and is still going strong. (I'm 13 1/2 weeks right now) I have to take this really expensive pill to be able to keep anything down.

It's up for grabs whether or not you are in the clear, but i hope for your sake that you are! Good luck and congrats!

Did not experience morning sickness at all with my first pregnancy. (I had a boy)

Second time around, morning sickness came during the 3rd month and didn't end until the 5th month. (Having a girl)

So many differences with both pregnancies, it just really depends on the baby you are carrying.

morning sickness usually is just in the first trimester. However, a lucky few get it all 9 months!

It usually goes away after the first trimester (13 weeks). I was lucky too and never had it with either of my pregnancies.

After your first trimester, morning sickness usually subsides. I figure you're in the clear.
