I really hate the ol broad..but every year without fail she shows up at the door bearing some cheesy gift.....I know she's on SSI and money is tight..but if you can't buy something nice why bother...right? So anyways the ol man says I have to buy her something this year.....any suggestions...?

Then tell hubby you spent $50 on her ... take the cash & go buy yourself something prettty ....

Get her like a $50 gift card to target, or wal mart or something like that, or even a gift visa card with money that she can spend anywhere.
SSI is a tough thing to be on and if she is nice enough to bring you a gift every year, you should reciprocate. Then again, you could get her a "Jack in The Box" that will scare the Poop out of her. Maybe it will be the last Christmas she brings you a gift.....

one of them nice strap on massagers that clip onto a chair maybe it would be nice for her as she's old and maybe would like a nice massage. i bought my nan one last christmas and she said it's the best present she's got use out of in ages. they're not too expensive.
