There are many web resources that can help, or you can take a class, or get a book at the library.

Hard to suggest a single place to learn "a lot" about computers. We also don't have any idea about what you do already know so hard to suggest a place to start.

Guess I'd recommend picking up some general computer books for a general question like that.
