I think she's trying to teach us. To not judge a book by its cover. When Jem and Scott look at Boo they think that he might be like bad, but inside he's really a good guy. No matter how you look at the person there's good in us not just the bad and things don't always come out as we expected.

I don't believe that she had a social agenda when she wrote the book. If she had, I think that she would have written other books. This is the only book she has ever released. It is based on events from her own childhood. Heck, Dill is based on Truman Capote.

Man it has been ages. Well it is about growing up, and learning to accept those around you and not judge people by the stories others craft. It is about helping out your fellow man, and seeking out the truth. It is about love and exploration.

he tried to teach us how ppl treat other ppl, and to understand other ppl by "walking in some1 else shoes," and also he teach us that it is a sin to kill a mocking bird(innocent ppl)
