Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio. It's known as "America's Roller Coast." It is the flagship park of the Cedar Fair company, which is the third largest theme park operation company behind Disney and Six Flags.

Cedar Point is definately great AND the place is huge. It takes more than a day to go on all the coasters.
I am also a fan of Hershey Park in Hershey, PA. Who doesn't like a park that is themed around chocolate?!?

I have been to almost all of the amusement parks listed. It depends upon what you want. Disney is still the standard in my book and their numbers prove it. The top five visited attractions in the world are all disney with disney world being #1. Disneyland can't compare to disney world. It would fit inside one quarter of the Magic Kingdom park at disneyworld. Once you go to disney world you never go back to the other parks.

Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio. It has 17 coasters and many of them were record holders when they first came out. They also have rides for little kids and they aren't always crowded (as disney would be). It is an all around good park and i havn't experienced anything negative when i've been there

Six Flags Magic Mountain, in Valencia California
No theme, no amusement, but lots of cool roller coasters. Be sure to go on Deja Vu when you're there.

Disneyland, California - the first and the best of the current bunch -- especially for families. Can you believe it is celebrating 52 years next year? Wow what an accomplishment and still as clean as a whistle.
and the guy who said Knotts veryfarm -- it is Knotts Berry Farm

Cedar Point has 16/17 coasters, as does Magic Mountain in Cali, and both have EXCELLENT coasters. Magic Mountain has X, which is a 3 dimensional coaster. Try it if you go there! Cedar Point has a new coaster called Maverick this past year, and is exquisite. Dunno how to spell that. But Disneyland is for theme-oriented people--they definately have that going for them.

Kennywood for rollercoasters. Busch Gardens Tampa for free beer samples. Disney world overall destination experience it makes Disneyland look pathetic. Universal studios in Orlando Ok but not as good as Disney.

Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. They have the most awesome roller coasters. Haven't been there for several years, but I would love to take a road trip there.
