Thank you so much! Finally someone mentions the Blazers. Okay so I'm a diehard fan of the blazers and I'm really excited to see people with so much faith in our young team. My thoughts on the playoffs are that the Blazers will get in, but only if the Jazz keep playing like they are. You see the playoff picture will probably be the same at the end of the year as it is right now. Spurs, Suns, Mavs, Lakers, Nuggets and Hornets are almost all guaranteed. That leaves the Warriors, Blazers, Rockets and Jazz fighting for those last two spots. I predict the Warriors will have a dip in their winning percentage. The Jazz will continue to loose and the Rockets will stay around .500. That leaves the Blazers. They will continue to play well. So well in fact they will take the 7th seed with a .560 record and be followed up by the Warriors who will finish with a .550 record.

While they have made great improvements over last year and are now beating quality opponents like Utah, Denver, and Golden State....they still won't make the playoffs this year...if they were in the East it would be different but the West is stacked....These are my locks to make it into the playoffs for the West...San Antonio, Phoenix, Dallas, Los Angeles (Lakers), Denver, Utah, Golden State, and either the Hornets or the Rockets as the 8 seed....see what I mean....the West is jst too good to be able to make the playoffs without Oden in the lineup...if they had him it "might" be a different story but we still don't know how he's gonna play against Amare, Yao, Dwight, Kaman, Camby, and even Shaq.....They're a really young team and I think that inexperience will be their downfall

If this is playoff time with 8 games to go, and If Portland continue to play and win at the rate they doing now, they will be in the playoff. Right now they are in the 9th position in the West with Houston trailing them by half a game only.... Right now the Jazz is a ahead of them by a game and the way Jazz is playing and with injuries to Okur, they might slip down in the second half....

They are doing great and they might make it to the playoffs. They just gotta be healthy. When Greg Oden comes back next year, the Blazers are gonna be beastin.

Yes...easily, THEY have won 8 straight without LaMarcus Aldridge, who is just a beast....I think they will end 8th or 7th.
1. Spurs
2. Suns
3. Dallas
4. Jazz
5. Nuggets
6. New Orleans
7. Golden State
8. Portland
The Lakers will screw up.

right now its about 50/50.....they are very young it will depend on how they deal with the second half of the season but they are sizzling right now and are beating some good teams. and as you said, it's without marcus aldridge who is their best player alongside Brandon Roy.
so i will say yes, they beat out either new orleans or the lakers for #8 seed.....by a game or 2

Not this year. Houston, Utah, Sacramento and Clippers will all finish the season ahead of them. Maybe with Oden, but he's out for the season.
