If so, how did you remain calm? What happened?
(P.S. - Bonus question - I've taken CPR classes, but I'd like to refresh my knowledge a bit, so if anyone knows any links to a good instructional website that would be appreciated as well :-)

Yes, my neighbor quit breathing, I had to do the breathing part while another neighbor did the chest part, I only had cpr in grade school and only knew from that, we got a faint pulse by the time the paramedics got there but he died at the hospital, he was 81 yrs old, I didn't really have time to panic, besides his wife was there watching the whole thing, she called me, I had to call 911 she was in shock. I would like to take cpr classes but there are no free classes around here and money is very tight at the moment.

Fortunately I haven't had to perform CPR to date, I have had training and refresher training and am about to train as a Registered nurse so I think at some point, if not many points in my career I will have to. I think your brain just takes over in situations like that and you remain calm until afterwards.
Bonus question - there are a few videos on youtube that may be of some use. I just searched "CPR" and a whole number of possibilities came back that's why I have not linked to them - just too many! I hope you find what you want! :)

I did when my brother was choking on food and saved his life. I've also volunteered as a first responder for my fire department in the past and was a 911 operator, so I have plenty experience in life-threatening situations. 2D
