The earth is always going through cycles where it warms and cools. However, if you're talking about human-induced global warming, it will end when we stop putting things into the atmosphere that cause the earth to retain heat. This may happen when we decide to live our lives differently, or when we run out of fossil fuels, or when we stop being a major player on the planet. There will, of course, be some time lag between when the atmospheric composition stops changing and when an equilibrium temperature is reached, probably several decades or more.

By the way, whether or not you think it is "boring," it is an important subject that will affect the lives of humans on earth for the next few centuries. Ignoring will not make it go away, and may be a fatal mistake for humans.

If you mean the discussions about it then be prepared for perhaps many years. But if you mean global warming itself, well then that is another question. If it is indeed caused by anthropogenic causes then man can eliminate or greatly reduce those causes such that the measured affects of global warming will be in the noise level at some point in time. If it is not the result or only the partial result of man's pollution of the atmosphere then it will be increasingly more difficult to estimate when the warming will end. Finally, if the earth resorts back to an ice age, then nature may solve man's problems. But no matter what, it will be a long way off even while the effects of global warming are already being observed.
