Neither country is democratic....not anymore. When was the last time you ever elected someone to represent you? I'd say probably never.

The USA is a REPUBLIC with a Representative
form of government. RUSSIA is a Parliamentary type of government!! In another sense of the word Democracy, the USA is the only one to be a democracy.
