For the nine year old, buy him a MP3 player. $50 you can get at walmart. Kmart has some generic, but they are still good I think like $30. The 13, probably a CD? Find out from his dad favorite bands. Greenday; Fall Out Boys; My Chemical Romance? The 16, $50 gift card to a store he's always at? Spencers maybe????? For that age, whatever you get, he will find a negative, so don't worry. Or something for a car if he has one.

- music / ipods... if not then maybe a CD -gift card to a store to get one. If an they already have an ipod - Itunes gift card
- Video games -- Are cheap if you buy them used. And also. if you wanted to buy them ALL a gift. buy them a game or game console. Wii is really fun, and if you have a playstation or x-box 360 guitar hero is fun too!
- gift card to speed zone, golf n stuff- arcade- movies-best buy- & if all else fails money or a certificate to the local mall will ALWAYS suffice.

I usually get my BF's kids Gift Cards to Blockbuster some Microwave Popcorn and Candy (walgreens has movie theater boxes 3 for $3 all the time). They love that.

the game Catch Phrase is so much fun and it can be for a wide range of ages. You can get it pretty cheap, under $20.

I would recommend a dvd, a mall gift card is also great, or even a visa gift card (it will be like a credit card for them)
If they own a game system (ps2, xbox, etc) get them a game.

One of those over the door nerf basketball hoops. Hours of fun for all three! My husband and his brother still love those things and they are 28 and 30!
