No, he's arrogant and power mad and I think he'd like to be a dictator.
I can easily picture him torturing political prisoners.

By all accounts Russian attempts at democracy under Putin have deteriorated, just as has happened in the USA under Dictator Dumbya.

His arrogance is beyond belief. He appointed himself, Prime Minister. This guy needs to be watched out for. He would be the one to bring back the U.S.S.R! That would be horror for the Russian people and for all of us. He wants to be the supreme master of power in the world.
Ahmadinejad will be his next partner, as both of them are schmoozing up to Chavez and any other would be dictators.

No. He's becoming the new European Hitler. He's even set up Putin Youth camps. Putin Youth are taught America is evil.

Not particularly, but I did like that he made a bloody fool out of Condolezza Rice, the supposed 'expert" on Russia.
He's smart, tough, probably ruthless---the typical Russian leader.
