Yes. I am afraid that we are up to our old tricks. It is absolutely shameful that we are aiding and supporting with information and God knows what else the Turkish invasion of Kurdish Iraq.
The Kurds have been the most successful of all the ethnic groups in Iraq at getting their act together. They have cooperated more than anybody else. This is how we repay them.
As usual, we are backing Turkey,a country- which although it took our money(bribes)- didn't even give our troops permission to enter. Turkey is not our ally yet we continue to treat it as one because it is important for Israel to keep Turkey happy. And we always do what Israel wants.

Because turkey has had a Kurdish separatist movement in their borders for a long time. A bordering Kurdish nation would support their efforts and the Turkish would resend the US for creating it. Thus losing a key Ally bridging Europe and the middle east.
