No, not really. maybe a little with my job. I was laid off and everyone in the industry was laying off and it was hard to find a job, except the commission only job. So I took it. since the industry is really super slow right now, I have no orders and no commission, so without changing professions, I feel a little trapped right now, but it's gonna get better. if I can just hold out for another couple months, I'll be making more money than if I changed professions. I just refinanced my house to pay off the credit cards, but could only get 80 percent paid off, which is okay, I can live with that. I do feel trapped with my rental house in CA though. Our mortgage is about $50,000 more than I could sell the house for because the market when soft, and being a landlord is NOT my idea of fun and I can't get maybe half of the mortgage payment in rent so I still have to come up with money. If it wasn't for that house, my commission only job wouldn't really matter so much. Maybe I do feel a little trapped, but I'm not going to let it get to me. I'll work it out. Just a couple more years and the CA market will go up and I can sell that house and break even. That would really be a load off! If it increases in value at a normal rate of 3% a year, it'll be 3 years until I can sell.
