what does System of a Down PERSONALLY have against Hollywood?

I dunno if anyone else noticed how they mention it and diss it in alot of they're songs. like Prison Song,Lost in Hollywood,Old School Hollywood, Toxicity...and they had the Hollywood sight but it said they're name instead as their album cover for Toxicity and showed the the side walks with the stars in the beinning of that video, I can defanatly see why one will begrudge Hollywood basically, I'm just curious WHAT is it with THEM and Hollywood. I do know Darren is from there and the rest from the middle east, I dunno if that has alot to do with it, does anyone know why or has an opinion why?

Yeah, Old School Hollywood wasnt too serious, Think Daron wrote it after seeing a baseball game. But on another level I dont think they like Hollywood, Like Toxicity they said was about California becoming full of bad & evil, drugs and stuff. And Lost in Hollywood, About it being so big and everyone theres famous & two-faced so it just makes you feel small compared to the rest. Prison song? Darron was arrested for parking tickets, & he saw how the jail was filled with drug offenders.. Not really about Hollywood.
But overall, Just the commercialism & falseness of it?

I'll say this much. It's good to know that System of a Down has a sense of humor. Most of their songs are as serious as a heart attack, so it's a welcome change. Based on the song Old School Hollywood, I highly doubt they hate Hollywood at all. It sounds more like they're just poking fun at it. That song is hysterically funny.

Maybe they knew something about the disgusting paedophile ring that Corey Feldman has talked about in his new book/the media recently? About what happened to many child actors and how they fell prey? And the drugs the paedophiles used, and that it's linked to the death of Corey Haim? I bet someone from Hollywood knows more about its dark secrets than how it is portrayed to the rest of the world?
