Make cleanup a fun time, something they look forward to. Sing a song, do a dance. I make my kids feel like they are important by "letting" them vacuum, cleanup and sweep in return for a treat when they are done. I disagree with the Lysol though. If you are worried about germs Clorox has a great product out called Hard Surfaces spray that is safe enough to be used around kids and pets. Above all having 3 kids close in age I learned this the hard way if you make cleaning seem like punishment they will not want to help and you will make your job that much harder. That is if your kids are old enough to help out. If not their naptime is a good time to catch up but don't expect to do it all at once do it a few minutes here a few there.

It is really HARD. The only thing you can really do is keep disinfecting by using Lysol and vacuuming, dishes and keeping the bathroom clean. I know there are toys and stuff around the house, but try to ignore those toys and have them clean their toys up after they finish, or if they are too little, clean up prior to bathing to unwind and get them to bed. Or try a separate room altogether for their playtime. I know it is tough, but it is unreasonable to think that you can have a clean house all the time with kids running around. It IS reasonable to keep it santized though!

1.hire a maid.
2.Do it at night.
3.Stop worrying about clean, a. clean is just an illusion and b. Nothing in this world is clean.

Life is too short to be filled with running around cleaning up after children.
Spend the time WITH them, not being their maid.
much more fun that way

I have a room for toys
and I just do as much as I can while they're sleeping or at school.
But with kids there's always going to be some mess.
I also put messy toys way up high and only bring them out when I'm in the mood to clean them up.
Having a giant toy box doesn't hurt either.

I don't!!! It's next to impossible. I have 3 messy boys and a very sloppy husband and all 4 have ADHD!!! It's total chaos all of the time. Only my kitchen is extremely clean and impeccably neat. I do clean the bathroom every other day, but it is messy within minutes..........

you merely would desire to take a seat and communicate on your husband approximately it, he needs to chip in slightly extra. possibly in case you're making dinner, he can load the dishwasher and sparkling the table jointly as you supply the new child a bathtub, or you may freshen up and he can furnish the new child a bathtub. merely attempt to delegate household projects slightly extra, furnish the 7 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous an allowance or a undeniable something on the top of the week/month if he/she will take care of their very own grimy clothing and positioned their dishes in the dishwasher whilst performed and that'll help you out too.
