he talks to my friend (also gay) and acts like my friends dad (my friend is 15) but he also talks sexually to my friend.
He says my friend reminds him of his real son.
I talk to him because I am wiccan and need a teacher and he says he's gay and not into girls but then he goes and talks sexually to me! can someone please tell me what this... idk... is?

ok I guess I wasn't exactly clear on the kind of sexual talk this is. this isn't flirting, and it's not just talking about sex in general. what he does is full out. he cybers with my friend and all of that. he even went as far as asking my friend to send him a picture and a pair of underwear (my friend lives a ways away)

I imagine it's just the way he talks. He probably makes sexual jokes just to make you guys think he's cool, you know, because he's talking to you like you're adults and not like you're kids. It's possible you might just be interpreting him incorrectly.

If you know gay people, some are very flamboyant, and some are not. Some come off as very intruding, rude, and even raunchy with what they say or how they act. I've known some in my day who talk in a very sexual way. What I would say to him is that I really like you as a teahcer, and I appreciate you teaching me about Wicca, but I would really appreciate it if you stopped talking to me and my friend in a sexual way. It makes me feel uncomfortable. If he still continues, I'd look for a new teacher.

By the way, I consider myself a Agnostic Spiritualist and my wife is Pagan who has also studied Wicca. And I have some wiccan friends. So I understand where you are coming from. But you need to tell him to stop. But I wouldn't worry about it too much.

You need to find another teacher, or if you are a minor yourself then you should take some time to study on your own before you study under a teacher. You don't need a teacher right now, just a decent reading list. This guy does sound like a possible predator, and you find them in all religions. Talking about sex, or suggestive banter with a minor is never appropriate. This sort of thing gives the Neopagan movement a bad name.

guys just tend to talk sexually anyway. Me and my friend.. we have no feelings like that for each other.. and he has dreams about having sex with me! I just laugh and ask for details xP

I personalluy wouldnt look too much into it :) though I'd ask him to keep to wiccan, and not concern youw ith his orientation or life. Maybe find a younger teacher.. I'm a self practitioner.. all I need is books and the internet..

the great thing about wiccna is you can do near enough anything :) there isnt much to be taught :)

(Im wiccan too! Good choice :D)

Maybe he is speaking about sexual things but isn't really hitting on you guys per say. Maybe he's just a really sexual person and he isn't really thinking of you two as younger people who may feel uncomfortable by his speech. I'd just mention it. I'm kinda like that-I talk about sex a lot and sometimes I do it without thinking about how the people around me are thinking about the words coming out of my mouth lol. I'm sure if you say something he'll be embarassed and try to curb himself. UNLESS he is trying to hit on one or both of you in which case I'd stay away from him becauuse he is way to old and is taking advantage of you guys and it would be illegal not to mention immoral.

Men are all the same
this "Wiccan teacher" of yours is using that exuse of something in common to get to know you.
id advise you to look for another "wiccan aqqauintant" because this one seems dodgy or just never be alone with him have someone else with you prefarable a boy someone that can fight agaisnt a man incase he was to try anything.
if you feel uncomfortable around him why ignore it dont be around him hes probably a pedophile like someone else said.

It sounds like he's just flirting with anyone for a confidence boost, but he also sounds really creepy..even if you do have that in common, I'm guessing you're only around 15 yourself, so I wouldn't be his friend if I were you. You can find Wiccans your own age.

He is either bisexual or just has a sexual way of relating to people.

I'd wager on the second. Some people are just like that, they have a sort of under-current of sex in everythign they do. don't read any meaning into it, if that's the case, he probably doesn't even realize he's doing it.

if he makes you feel uncomfortable at all, he's not the teacher for you. if you're under 18, no matter what he says his sexual preference is, you should not be around him at all. keep looking & reading & the right teacher will come to you. Bright Blessings.

So continue to be mentored in your religion of choice. Tell this person that his sexuallity is none of your business, and to stick to the wicca conversation.
