We've worked together for 4 years and he basically has everything he needs and asks that I don't buy him a gift. But I was thinking maybe a card and perhaps a gift card. Ideas? suggestions? Please Thank you

Since he asked you not to buy him anything then don't buy him anything. Usually there's a limit on the amount you could buy an employer. I think generally they can't accept a gift more than $25, and he probably said to you don't buy anything because he didn't want you to use up your bonus for him, or he knows this year has been a tough one for a lot of people financially and he thinks you may need the gift or money more, or maybe he's not giving bonuses this year and what you'd spend would be considered your bonus. But we'ver always just bought ties or a shirt (if you know his size), or maybe even some nice Christmas music (he could play as background music when he has guests over for the holiday). Nix on the gift card.

Try a gift card to a book store or restaurant. Think of what kinds of foods he likes and taylor it to his likes. You can almost never go wrong with a gift card...it's like giving someone free money but a little more personable :)

Just get him a funny Christmas card that says "Happy Holidays" or something like that. It's the thought that counts.

I am getting mine a gift certificate to get his vehicle washed, by a company that comes to you. It is hard to find a good gift for someone who has most everything.

Got to get him a collectable wall plaques from franklinsplastercraft.com for the person who has everything, also these will be big next year as they are not widely known about yet, let him be the first.

I love these things, I got them for my four bosses last year and I still catching them playing with them, sometimes I think they have pretend meetings and go to the conference room and put all their cubes together and go crazy!
